It's not quite that every truck have to be different. But that is close. Pickups that work must be fitted to the task to be achieved. Maybe it's hauling long, tall items with book shelves. Maybe it's towing too. That may mean some hang-on inclusions. But it also may mean drive train changes or upgrades.
The Toyota Truck with the 1980s am iconic that running without shoes didn't even need an elegant name. No, it only agreed to be "the Truck Mounted Crane Maintenance." The truck was great given that was actually a compact box truck and had reliability that simply was the best special vehicle . The key was the 22R engine which simply ran and ran and ran and well, you get the drift. The truck is still seen driving around everywhere you search. The 22R stock engine is still running in most of all of them with only an occasional call timing belt change, tune up and oil change being carried out. A truly amazing used truck!
