We hauled water away from the neighbors (even though we drilled a well - we still needed a pump and a pressure tank and an electrical 400Kw Diesel Generator to pump the water). We a new milk cow, so we went through about 35 gallons of water a day just on her behalf! That didn't include drinking water for us or water for laundry, cooking, dishes and vacuuming.
